At Inside-Out, we walk beside learners on a journey of inner growth and civic awakening. Our mentorship program is powered by a vetted pool of mentors trained in Social Emotional Learning (SEL), trauma-informed care, and ethical facilitation.

We are passionate about children’s well-being. That’s why we embed our mentorship into CBC-aligned modules focused on identity, values, and leadership, all within safe, structured spaces guided by clear emotional and physical protection protocols.

We scale impact through collaboration—with schools, youth networks, local implementers, and community hubs. And to monitor growth meaningfully, we use reflective journals, feedback loops, and storytelling.

In line with Kenya’s Mentorship Guide for Early Learning and Basic Education (2019), our Mentorship Pact is designed to cultivate nurturing learning environments where learners are supported academically, personally, and professionally.

Our mentorship model is SEL-infused and structured for holistic development:

📝 Voluntary sign-up with parent/guardian consent

🧭 Interest-based matching and compatibility checks between mentors and mentees

🎓 Training in mentorship methodology, SEL, child protection, and civic facilitation

📦 Co-creation of resource packs (session plans, journals, curriculum guides safeguarding tools)

📅 Program rhythm: biweekly sessions, monthly workshops, and term reviews
